June is going to be a crazy busy month…at the movies!! I can’t wait for June 29th to see People Like Us! Seriously, I get goose bumps every time I see the trailers on television!

From the genuis filmmakers at DreamWorks Pictures comes the new film, People Like Us, a drama/comedy about family, inspired by true events, starring Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks. The film’s main character Sam (Chris Pine), the twenty-something, fast-talking salesman learns that his father has suddenly died. Against his wishes, he is called home, where he must put his father’s estate in order and reconnect with his estranged family.

In the course of fulfilling his father’s last wishes, Sam uncovers a startling secret that turns his entire world upside down: He has a 30-year-old sister Frankie (Elizabeth Banks) whom he never knew about! As their relationship develops, Sam is forced to rethink everything he thought he knew about his family—and re-examine his own life choices in the process.

The film also stars Olivia Wilde, Michael Hall D’Addario, Philip Baker Hall, Mark Duplass and Michelle Pfeiffer.

People Like Us is directed by Alex Kurtzman, produced by Roberto Orci, Bobby Cohen and Clayton Townsend, and written by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci & Jody Lambert.

People Like Us hits theaters everywhere on June 29th!

    I had heard of the movie but didn’t know what it is about (DVR will do that to a person LOL). I would like to see it when it comes out on DVD.
