While perusing through my Wikets app on my iPhone today, I saw a recommendation for the Muppets collection of OPI nail polish. And I was like “Whaaaaaat?”

How did I not already know about this? I spend all day, every day on the internet and I am just now finding out about nail polishes that would have been perfect to wear when I went to see the Muppets?!

Not fair.

I started Googling (yes, that’s a verb now) nail polish collections inspired by movies and I was quite surprised by all of the results. Apparently, OPI makes a nail polish collection based off A LOT of movies. Mostly Disney movies, but that’s understandable – who doesn’t love them some Disney?

The most interesting nail polish line I found was China Glaze Hunger Games 2012 New Nail Polish Lacquer Collection.

The colors are totally glam and totally in line with the colors I think of when I think of the Hunger Games!

I found a few other really cool nail polish lines while I was perusing Amazon as well, like this OPI Pirates of the Carribean Mini Nail Lacquer Set!

And of course, the OPI Muppet Mini Nail Lacquer Set!

How cute are these!? I’m wondering what other color palettes OPI and China Glaze are going to come up with for all of the cool movies coming out this summer!

I still haven’t seen The Hunger Games. I am still trying to decide if I want to risk being disappointed…the books were so wonderful! But…I don’t know if I want to miss seeing Woody as Haymitch!
