I’m a big fan of Bertolli pasta, and those delicious frozen meals for the stove or the oven. When I know that I am not going to feel like cooking, but still want something homey and delicious, I always reach for the Bertolli at the grocery store!

I was really excited to hear that Bertolli was hosting a live Ustream event and Twitter party on Monday with Chef Fabio Viviani and introducing their new line of soup! I wasn’t able to stick around for the entire event because I actually had to cook dinner – I hadn’t bought my Bertolli Meal Soup yet, unfortunately – but I was happy to learn what I did while I was watching. I happen to love soup, it’s one of my go-to comfort foods, so when I saw what Bertolli meant by “soup:…well, I got even more excited. I love that Bertolli uses so many fresh ingredients in easy-to-prepare meals. Their restaurant-quality soups are full of crisp vegetables, fully-cooked chicken or beef, and filling pasta that leaves you satisfied. It’s not just soup – it’s Meal Soup – which means it’s hearty, it’s filling, and it is definitely being added to my list of quick and sumptuous meals!

You can watch the Ustream event from Monday here  from Bertolli’s Facebook page. Why you’re there, “like” Bertolli on Facebook so you can keep abreast of all of their latest promotions!

I tried the Chicken Minestrone last night and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised in the flavors! I knew it would be easy to prepare, and I expected it to taste good – but it was delicious! I could actually taste the vegetables, and the chicken just melted in my mouth.

Bertolli is one of my favorite brands and I am so excited to be able to share them with you through a giveaway!

I haven’t tried the Bertolli soups yet; I’ve been waiting for my local grocery store to get them in since there have been good dollar-off coupons in the paper. My favorite soup is chicken dumpling.

I want to try their Tomato Florentine & Tortelloni with Chicken. (well, I want to try it when it cools down a bit. 97 degrees does not make me think soup for dinner!)

I haven’t tried these yet, but the Tomato Florentine & Tortellini with Chicken looks good enough to eat!! :)
