My pal Jamie over at It’s My Life recently tagged me in one of those 10 Things About Me posts and I have to admit, I really love participating in memes like this.

I simply love getting to know my friends better – especially my blogging friends, because a lot of connection is lost by only “seeing” each other online. These memes where we share quirky information about ourselves? I love them! For instance, Jamie recently published his first ebook, Grande Plage on Kindle. That makes two friends of mine who have been self published this year…and while I am a little jealous that they’ve been so dedicated and have accomplished what I haven’t – I am so incredibly happy and proud of them! The other friend is Lacey, who published Tangled Web earlier this year.

So…10 Things I Can’t Live Without?

Let’s get started! Oh – and these are not in order of importance, okay?

1. My iPhone. Seriously, it is permanently attached to my hand and I could not function without it.

2. My family. All of them: husband, daughter, parents, sisters, etc. I love my big, crazy but loving family!

3. The ocean. I grew up in Miami and I am a true Florida girl. I need the ocean, or at least a pool, available to me at all times.

4. Iced Coffee. I never drink hot beverages, but I became addicted to iced coffee last year and can’t see NOT drinking it…

5. My dogs. I never thought I’d be a dog person until I had Alaskan Malamutes and Shelties. I love my fur babies!

6. Cable. I watch a sickening amount of television. I know that I should be ashamed of this, but I am not. I love TV!

7. Mac Lip Glass. Yeah, I love that stuff! All the moisture of Chapstick but it actually makes me look pretty too.

8. Black eye liner. Seriously, I can leave the house in Mac Lip Glass and a little black eye liner and feel like a million bucks!

9. The Internet. Is that a given? It should be. As a blogger, I require the internet to run my business, but I also need it just because I am horribly, terribly addicted and can not function when I am not online! How would I check my bank account balance?!

10. Dresses. Seriously, I don’t know if I am just weird or if it is the heat…but I live in dresses. They’re pretty much all I ever wear!

What are 10 things that you can’t live without?

Maybe it’s because I’m an aquarius, but I have always wanted to live near water. I am jealous! And like you, my iPhone is basically attached to my hand at all times. Even when I’m on my computer…

I’m a full on tv addict and with Netflix and my Kindle Fire (it’s propped up right next to the computer, so I can watch tv AND work) I burn through seasons of tv shows like nobody’s business. I’m also addicted to the internet.

Jenn, I can’t live without my iPhone 4S, iPad, or iPod!! I totally agree about iced coffee—if it’s not at home, then hello Starbucks! I’ve hit gold card status with them! Definitely my family’s on the list, along with my friends!!

I just love all the things on your list. I couldn’t live without my family, iphone, internet, cable, flip flops, chocolate, pizza and my cat!

Lol — I *nearly* got an iPhone this weekend but my husband pushed for the new Samsung Galaxy 3s …. I still haven’t decided if I am happy about the new phone or not.

Love your list! I’m not much of a dress girl, but you pull them off so well! I couldn’t live without my books or headphones. They keep me sane! I know what you mean about not being a dog person. Until I got Padfoot I NEVER thought of myself as a dog person. Turns out I was wrong. 😉

Your list could seriously be my own- they’re very very close! I’m bummed though because I don’t have a beach, but we do have lots of pools so it helps. But the beach is my all-time happy place! Your dog is BEAUTIFUL by the way!

We have a lot in common. The biggest difference would be that I prefer hot coffee over iced. :) And I love the ocean/beach, but don’t live near one. :(

The funny thing is that I never watch TV during the day either! Not even on weekends! It doesn’t come on until around 7 or so, but then it’s one until midnight!
