I’m a bit of a television addict…I look forward to the new fall line up all summer long! While I lost a few shows that I really enjoyed last year, I was pleasantly surprised by all of the new shows premiering this year!

One in particular is Suburgatory; it’s about a spunky teenage girl who’s plucked from her hip Manhattan life and banished to…the Suburbs! Eek! My daughter can totally relate to this show because we are anticipating a move next year. She also really liked the show, she thinks “Tessa” is so cool. Suburgatory premiers Wednesday, September 28th at 8:30 pm on ABC!

I was lucky enough to be able to preview the premier and you can too!

I see big things for Suburgatory, and I have to say, unlike some of the other new shows that are premiering, I love the cast!

Jane Levy plays Tessa Altman, and I think she’s wonderful as the displaced teenager. And Jeremy Sisto as dad George Altman? Well, he’s spot on and gorgeous as always! The line up also included Carly Chaikin as Dalia Royce, Allie Grant as Lisa, Alan Tudyk as Noah Lerner, Cheryl Hines as Dallas Royce.

ABC's Suburgatory

I think that Suburgatory will be one of the most popular new shows because it’s funny, it’s sweet and it appeals to all teenagers – while the story is about Tessa starting life over in a foreign environment, all teens are going to be able to identify with her struggle to fit in.

You Know You’re From Suburgatory When…Your dog’s haircut is more expensive than yours.
